I’m a little surprised by all the Hitchens love going around on the e-world right now, but instead of me talking about his hate-mongering under the cloak of “new atheism,” read this article from vanity fair.
That pull quote makes it sound like it’s a humor piece, but it’s actually a painfully long diatribe that that is rather telling about the man as a whole. I’ve noticed some people defend him by mentioning his earlier work, but hoo-boy did he do whatever he could do to destroy his “legacy” over this past decade.
